I know some of us would be wondering what the 80’s was like with no internet, smart phones and personal computers. Well communication might have not been so good but the fashion was real good. And now some of the good old 80s trends are finding their way into 2017.

I am going to start with the ones that I love most but still don’t own yet.

1. Fanny packs: I know market woman is what you think first if you’re Nigerian. But hey it does actually look good, just don’t wear it the traditional way and make it look cool.

2. Shoulder pads: Although it has been predicted to be prominent in fall/winter 2017, I think I would just advise to be worn by those in countries that are actually in winter. If it’s not cold in your country, complement it by revealing extra skin; could be your legs or just the cleavage.

3. Huge earrings: you can swap the trendy hoop earrings for statement pieces.4. Ray bans and mirrored sunglasses: I am a big fan of round glasses compared to the square ones, not sure I would be getting the square ones anytime soon.but I think I will replace my mirrored glasses.5. Track suits: yeah they were worn in the 80s but now better than ever. It could be made with velvet fabric just to make it more stylish.6. Customized denim jackets 7. Headbands and bucket hats

Others include mini skirts, Parachute pants, glitzy sequins and wide waist clinch belts could be used as an accessory.
