I was actually confused and didn’t know when summer was supposed to end, I think it’s because my school resumed already. Guys summer is still on because I confirmed on Google and summer is (June 21st and September 22). So it’s not too late to rock that summer outfit.

I got some tips for the outfits this 2017 trends. Some are already everywhere in Lagos while some are just building momentum

Oversized denim jackets: it’s been everywhere and yes you need one. Whether it’s because you believe Lagos is not in summer period but rainy season, your oversized denim jacket has got you covered. Since summer is all about less clothes I think you could just throw it on your like your short skirts and short dresses. As seen here I am wearing a ripped top which allows enough air and that makes me not feel the summer heat. So depending on how you choose to style your denim jacket make sure there’s air and you’re not feeling hot.

Fold over waist: that’s not yet everywhere but it looks pretty good believe me. Although some are not really folded over as seen below but it still looks good too.

Flash dance shoulder: whether it’s a dress or a top, you should let the shoulder flash lol. There are lots of wraptops that has this design right now; of course I believe it should be done in moderation.

Raw hem denim skirts: I wonder what the world will be like without denim. Denim skirts are very versatile and with the raw hem it looks revamped and totally chic.

Bright colors: if you’ve got a bright color you’ve not been able to wear because you feel it’s just too bright or what not. Bring it out of the closet and create your own 50 shades of whatever color it is! Especially the yellow color.

Don’t be scared it’s summer 2017.
