I am most comfortable in bathroom slippers, y’all can’t even imagine where I have worn my bathroom slippers to.

Mall ☑

Visiting a friends house ☑

Market ☑

Cinemas ☑

I can remember a night a friend came over to pick me. We went to a lounge and guess what I was wearing, my bathroom slippers 🙈!

And of course in the bathroom ☑ ☑ ☑

The only place I have not worn them to is church, and I am not kidding but some people in my school actually wear them to church 🤦‍♀️. Because a pair of shoes or slippers is comfortable doesn’t mean you can wear them anywhere.

ladies and gentlemen, let’s try to simplify this.

1. Mall, cinemas, lounge or just hanging at a friends: we want to be as comfortable as possible in these places, other than sneakers that’s obviously wearable almost anytime. Guys, you can opt for a pair of loafers or a pair of sandals or slides. Casual boots could also be worn.

Flip flops and sandals are 2 different things.Photo credit: gq.comthe one on the left is sandals and the one on the right is flip flops. Girls, you can wear slides, sandals, mules, block heeled shoes. 2. Dinners and formal events: for these events we want to look as elegant as possible. Sometimes it might hurt our feet as girls though, not sure if some shoes hurt guys feet.

Guys, it’s time for your brogue, Oxford, dress boots, and plain toe derbies to be worn.

Ladies, it’s time to bring out your stilettos, or probably block heels if you can’t walk with stilettos. 3. Church: please don’t be like people in my school that wear flip flops to church. But you can wear any of the above shoes depending on the outfit you are putting on.

Another kind of casual shoe is espadrilles, I hope we were able to learn a thing or two from this post. Let’s not just be caught wearing the wrong pair of shoes out. Let me know your thoughts,

Love always
